Obviously your choice of diet plays a major role too, so maximise on fruit, vegetables and oily fish and stay away from too much sugar and fat. You will be amazed at the difference a few small changes can make to your skin, so think really carefully about which lifestyle choices are making you look older than you are.

The sheer choice of products that are available on the market is overwhelming. It is worth spending money on a great quality moisturiser but make sure you choose one that has been designed for older skin. It will have a good balance of nutrients and vitamins that are designed for you. You’ll need a good quality cleanser and toner, and a facial serum which will help to lock in moisture. Make sure you clean your face every night with a good facial wash, and avoid wearing too much makeup.
Exercise is great for getting the blood pumping, and when you carry out any sort of aerobic exercise your face will look amazing! You’ll get all sorts of other benefits from it too, so make sure that exercise is part of your daily routine. It will also make you feel far more positive and healthy, and there’s nothing like a good attitude to help you stay looking young. If you are not sure which type of exercise is right for you then consult with a fitness expert or a personal trainer.
Making little changes here and there can bring about some huge benefits. Don’t assume that it’s too late for you to start looking after your skin – you can do things right now that will make you look and feel younger. Go for it!
